Mental Health Support Workers

Olivia Fowler, MHSP

Olivia is a mental health support worker. She graduated from the Child and Youth Care with Addictions Support Program through Eastern College. She is qualified to work with people of all ages, not just children and youth who may need these services. Her goal is to create a safe space for clients where they feel heard and seen. She has a strengths-based and solution-focused approach to help clients view the positives in their lives to help them learn how to use the tools that they already have and find what works best for them.

Olivia’s areas of interest are self-esteem, trauma, coping strategies, emotional regulation, building boundaries, depression and anxiety.

Vanessa Walsh, MHSP 

Vanessa is a mental health support worker. She graduated from the Child and Youth Care with Addictions Support Program through Eastern College. She is qualified to work with individuals of all ages who may need the services she provides.  Her goal is to establish a non-judgmental atmosphere where she will help her clients develop an individualized plan working collaboratively to meet her client’s desirable goals. Vanessa is passionate about helping advocate for youth and individuals.  She also provides behavioural modification techniques to help her clients attain desirable behaviours through a solution and strength-based approach.

Vanessa’s areas of interest include self-esteem, emotional regulation, neurodivergent support, trauma, domestic violence, boundaries, anger management and childhood trauma.
